it doesnt really discuss the social contract in Malaysia per se. but you know. kinda interesting.
read the comments too. yeah some of them are pretty stupid and biased.but there are a few roses in that bed of thorns.
i wonder how to get that many comments? :S

Regarding this oil rise, i think you know where i'm coming from this. I do agree on high price, WHY? Because that's the only way we can seriously consider alternative energies, oil have been far too cheap for far too long, that we as HUMAN have far become addicted to this 'black gold'. The only reason Iran is supporting this 'high prices' is because they need high price in order to support their economy, primary because they have aging oil field with sub-standard equipments and not to mention they have limited oil refinery capacity(they import refined oil product from their Gulf neighbours, hence adding strain on their budget), and blamed that also to their huge population, you might want to know although Iran have cheap petrol THEY essentially have quotas in place for how many liters motorists can buy, does that tell you something about the current state of their oil industry? With that said i'm not even surprised if HE(Mr Ahmadinejad or those in the Iranian media or the power-to-be in Iran)would make statements such as choking/quarantine the oil shipping lane or for making oil as a weapon if they're attacked. Anyway we can probably have a debate about this when i'm back. Anyway cheers man.
*sorry so long, like writing essay only, haha ^^*
